Ever since I saw Inception, I’ve become a wee bit obsessed with Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Not that he was was a new face to me. I watched Third Rock from the Sun (it was one of my Dad’s favorites) and 10 Things I Hate About You is one of the best movies ever. I think it was just watching him kick some ass in a rotating hallway kicked it up a notch for me. I know my favorite Eddy agrees with me on the fabulousness of JGL. Just ask her about (500) Days of Summer.
Anyway, I found he has this little collaborative production company called hitRECord.org so I checked it out. It’s a really innovative idea and I like it a lot. But I have become sidetracked by two of the coolest little videos I have seen in a long time. Now, I’m a reader and a little bit of a writer. I like words and stories. While the art and animation in the videos are awesome, I was completely taken by the narration and the words. The stories are cute, but I love how he makes up words and uses different phrases for things aside from the words we use everyday. “Rapturized,” “suppurilated,” mouth = “face hole” and eyes = “see globes” just to name a few! I adore it. Watch them and love them.
